FastRawViewer is a windows software that is used to open RAW files very quickly and make them on-the-fly, not just displaying embedded JPEGs.
FastRawViewer allows a photographer to see RAW exactly as the converter will “see” it, without delay or waiting time, guaranteeing the possibility to sort and sort RAW images at lightning speed and based on RAW quality itself, not JPEG preview.
RAW-based tools FastRawViewer (unique such as RAW histogram, RAW statistics, Shadow Boost, Highlight Inspection, Peaking Focus, per-channel display, as well as known ones such as Exposure Compensation, White Balance, Contrast Curve) allow one to estimate what the converter will be able to squeeze from RAW image data and make initial adjustments to RAW files, which will be read and applied by Adobe converters.
FastRawViewer provides tools to rate, label and sort photos, and filter out a number of RAW images.
FastRawViewer supports various RAW, JPEG, TIFF, and PNG formats.
FastRawViewer is very user-friendly and integrates seamlessly into the existing RAW workflow. This is very flexible; almost all settings can be adjusted and keyboard / mouse shortcuts can be changed according to their individual habits and preferences.
FastRawViewer for Windows requires a computer with an SSE3 compatible CPU (that is, produced after 2004) and a video card that is not too old-fashioned. This works on a variety of Windows 32/64 bit platforms: 7, 8, 8.1.10 (we recommend Windows 8.1 / 64-bit or Windows 10/64-bit).
FastRawViewer for Windows uses hardware graphics acceleration:
Microsoft DirectX based graphics: DirectX 9.0 is required, DirectX 9.0c support or later is recommended
OpenGL based graphics – requires a video card with at least OpenGL 2.1 support.
